The Topol Review: Preparing the healthcare workforce to deliver the digital future has now been published. The review, led by Dr Eric Topol and facilitated by Health Education England, provides guidance on how technological advancements (namely digital medicine, genomics, artificial intelligence and robotics) will change the healthcare profession and services during the next 20 years. The report also makes recommendations on the types of roles, skills, and training that will be required within the NHS workforce.
